Play your PodVisit anywhere alongside the Beaulieu River. The tidal stretch of the Beaulieu River between the Mill Pond and Buckler's Hard forms part of the North Solent Nature Reserve and is a haven for wildlife and birds.

It hasn't always been so quiet and tranquil here.  Once, the British Empire's great warships were made from New Forest oak along the riverbank.  And the river played an important role during World War II.

WalkerWalk through the village of Beaulieu (09) alongside the Mill Pond.  A path beside the Montagu Arms hotel marks the start of a 3-4km walk along the tidal stretch of the Beaulieu River (12), through the North Solent Nature Reserve towards Buckler's Hard (13).
