There are commanding views over the New Forest's bogland as far as Christchurch.

WalkerTo visit the iron age hill fort at Castle Hill (18) from the village centre, walk towards Burley Street along the Ringwood Road and follow the signs to Castle Hill via Castle Hill Lane.

Castle Hill Lane also passes Burley Beacon (20) and there are paths leading from the hill top down to Church Moor (19) at Burnt Axon where the path continues to Long Pond.

Church Moor and Castle Hill can also be accessed from the Vales Moor car park.
