Play your PodVisit anywhere in the village of Beaulieu. Cistercian monks once lived here in the biggest monastic complex of its kind in England. It was largely reduced to a ruin when Henry XIII dissolved the monastries.
Since 1538 Beaulieu and the surrounding estate has been owned by the Montagu family who live in the spectacular Palace House.
