Play your PodVisit at the Bolderwood deer viewing platform or anywhere in the New Forest where you catch a glimpse of fallow, red, roe and sika deer.

The New Forest was originally set up for the king to hunt for deer but at other times they were regarded as a pest and attempts were made to elimimate them altogether - but they are still very much part of the fabric of the forest.

WalkerThe Bolderwood viewing platform is a short walk from the car park and you can continue down the Bolderwood Arboretum Ornamental Drive to the Knightwood Oak (21).

Across the road, the Bolderwood walk loops through the woods and into the Highland Water Inclosure.
