Play your PodVisit anywhere in the village of Beaulieu. The monks of Beaulieu Abbey may have left centuries ago, but many Beaulieu residents think their presence still haunts the village.

There are many ghostly tales of residents coming across ghostly apparitions and of buildings in the village being haunted.

WalkerWalk through the village of Beaulieu alongside the Mill Pond.  A path beside the Montagu Arms hotel marks the start of a 3-4km walk along the tidal stretch of the Beaulieu River (12), through the North Solent Nature Reserve towards Buckler's Hard (13).

  • Beaulieu is on the New Forest Cycle Network - using your bike saves pollution, eases conjestion and is good exercise.  Leave your car at home and use the New Forest Tour bus in summer. Brockenhurst and Beaulieu Road are the nearest train stations.
